All the designs and content in the world would never make it to your computer screen without countless hours of site building and programming – and that’s right up Steve Robison’s alley. Taking an interest in programming during his teen years, Steve's a bastion of coding knowledge that has worked with countless systems and protocols.

Steve began his professional programming career with CE Net in 1998. There he performed high-end programming and website projects, managed web and database servers, and more. He also established himself as a team leader, helping to manage and train staff for the first time.

He’d eventually leave CE Net and see time at a variety of local web development firms – furthering his understanding of web strategies at each stop. Over time he mastered HTML, CSS, XHTML, Javascript, XML, RSS, SQL Programming, ColdFusion, PHP, ASP, Perl Programming and much more – making him able to adapt to whatever programming situation may arise.

He partnered with friend Frank Payton to form Fine Line in 2008. With Fine Line, Steve serves as the chief programmer and manager. He handles the daily operations of the company and its projects and clients while maintaining all website and programming projects.

His experience and knowledge of web programming makes him an indispensable member of the team, and one of the finest programmers you’ll be able to find. If there’s one person you can trust the keys to your website to, he’s it.

Often the first company representative you’ll meet, Frank Payton is Fine Line’s go-to man for customer relations and sales. The lifetime Sussex County resident has no trouble relating to people – helping to streamline the web development process and ensure a happier, more satisfied client.

Frank couples that welcoming attitude with an in depth understanding of web development, IT consulting and relationship management. He originally broke into Internet-related work as a Technical Specialist with Allfirst Financial – developing critical supports sites and managing hundreds of workstations in a multi-operating system environment.

He then spent time with M&T Bank as a Project Manager, where he was a part of a number of enterprise and infrastructure projects.

In that time Frank became increasingly interested in web development, and ultimately began working with local businesses and clients to build and maintain effective web solutions. After leaving M&T, he pursued his growing interest, consistently working in web design until ultimately partnering with Steve Robison in August 2008.

Fine Line hasn’t stopped growing since that modest start – but Frank has never stopped treating each and every client just like they’re the only one the company has. A company is only what its customers make of it, and Frank spends his days making sure that each and every client that chooses Fine Line is happy with the result.

It’s that dedication that makes Frank one of the best at what he does. If it’s web work you need, Frank Payton’s who you should be talking to.

The very first thing you’ll see when you visit a website is its design – whether it’s eye-popping or attention-grabbing. What a website looks like conveys a message to the people that view it, making the graphic design integral to any successful website. For that, we give you one of the best graphic designers in the business: Tom Brown.

Wielding more than a decade of graphics experience, Tom will help give your site a look and feel that’s both professional and original.

Beginning his graphics career as a print designer, Tom designed brochure cover art, layouts, flyers, and branding materials for Graphics Unlimited. At the same time, he plied his trade laying out ads and front page art for the Dover Post Print Company.

Eventually leaving the print world for web design, Tom has spent the better part of the last ten years designing and laying out websites. He’s adept at creating visually appealing and functional layouts. He’s also created branding materials like company logos and print projects such as brochures and mailers.

Any design project you can imagine, Tom can complete. His skills aren’t limited to graphical work either – he’s no stranger to HTML, CSS, Javascript and other protocols.

A consummate team player and experienced web developer, Tom brings a steady, reliable presence to Fine Line. His graphics skills are unparalleled elsewhere, and he’s a personable designer – he’ll work directly with the client in order to exceed any and all expectations.

You can’t have websites without computers... and sometimes computers just don’t want to cooperate. When that happens, Fine Line’s master technician Carney Kinnamon is on the case. With more than a decade of IT experience, Carney’s fully equipped to be your one-man Tech Support team.

Carney has spent more than half of his life working in IT – dealing with small network management, mechanical engineering, hardware issues, software and operating systems, computer security, intrusion prevention and more. He attained his degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern Maine. It wasn’t long, however, before he returned to his passion – computers.

After college Carney worked with a number of companies, spending time as an IT and Research and Development Manager – where he was able to work directly with computer system construction, implementation and maintenance protocols.

Originally from Milton, Carney’s right at home when dealing with Sussex County businesses and their IT concerns. He’s dedicated a number of years to Independent IT Consulting, and in that time has provided technical support for a variety of local businesses throughout the region.

When IT concerns have got you bugged, Carney’s the guy to call. He’s got the tools, the talent and the experience you’ll want when you’re installing, repairing or protecting the machines and programs that are your company’s lifeblood.

Fine Line’s ecstatic to have Carney on the team – and you’ll feel the same way if you ever need IT support.

You don’t just want a great looking website… you want a great looking website that works – and that’s why we bolstered our staff with the addition of up and coming custom programmer Shaun Aubain.

A spring 2011 graduate of Salisbury University, Shaun joins Fine Line with a shiny new Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and all the technical knowledge you could want out of your programmer. He spent a short time with the company as an intern before “forcing” his way onto the full-time roster with top-notch coding and development.

Before attaining his Computer Science degree, Shaun spent time at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury, where he picked up an Associate’s Degree in General Studies and Computer Studies.

While at school he specialized in software development and programming, database management and the use of HTML, PHP, CSS and MySQL to develop programs. He now continues to put those tools to use with Fine Line while working alongside our programming master Steve Robison.

A long time Salisbury resident, Shaun knows the Eastern Shore and its businesses – and he brings with him all of the region’s trademark hard work and determination. We’re happy to have him on the team and we’re excited about what his skills can do for Fine Line and our customers.

With four full-fledged website and IT related divisions (and counting!), things can get a little bit hectic at your favorite Delaware web development firm. That’s where Administrative Assistant Leigh Ryan fits in – she keeps office communication lines monitored and ensures that the rest of the staff knows exactly what they’re supposed to be doing… and when.

With nearly 10 years of customer service related experience under her belt, Leigh’s a perfect fit as an administrative assistant for an ever-growing web design company. With Fine Line she’ll manage the phone lines (which get more crowded with each passing day), hold down the front desk and work hand in hand with new and returning clients alike.

Leigh comes to Fine Line from Walgreen’s Pharmacy, where she served as a Customer Advisor. There she worked in customer relations and basic store management. Before that she was a valued member of the staff at the Dogfish Head Brewpub in Rehoboth. She’s also a certified medical billing and coding specialist.

She spent time as a ticketing representative at Dover Speedway honing her sales skills – which doesn’t hurt, because we like the entire Fine Line staff to be able to sell when called upon!

A longtime Delaware resident that’s also seen quite a bit of the world (we’re pretty sure stints in Japan and Belgium make her Fine Line’s most travel savvy employee…), Leigh’s a well rounded staffer that we’re happy to have wearing the green and blue. Stop in and meet her for yourself!

Organization and client interaction are extremely important aspects of a successful growing business, and Administrative Assistant Rebecca Materniak knows this first hand. Rebecca joined the Fine Line team to assist Frank with client communication, scheduling, and organization, as well as keeping the production staff focused and on track (which can be quite a daunting task sometimes!)

Rebecca comes to us highly qualified - she is a 2010 graduate of Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Management with a Minor in Spanish. While in school, her primary areas of focus included Human Resources, Negotiations, Risk Management Assessment, and Leadership Development.

After graduation, Rebecca went on to secure a Sales and Negotiations position, an area of expertise that will definitely come in handy when working with our clientele. We are confident that she will be able to use her previous work experience, skills, and education to reach out to prospective clients, network, and help our company continue to expand by bolstering sales.

Sales and customer service are not Rebecca's only strong points; she is also an accomplished horseback rider. In fact, while attending high school in Pennington, NJ, Rebecca was ranked fifth in the world in the Three-Gaited Division, which is certainly no easy feat!

Now a full-time resident of Lewes, DE, Rebecca's educational background, work experience, and ability to communicate with a diverse spectrum of clients make her a perfect fit for a burgeoning local company like Fine Line. We are happy to welcome Rebecca to the staff, and look forward to seeing her provide our customers with the friendly and knowledgeable service they have come to expect from Delaware's favorite web design team.

Life in the web development business is ever changing – few profession’s strategies have to evolve more quickly than a web designer’s. There’s always a new idea that’s waiting to be cultivated just around the corner, always a fresh approach to a not-so-old game. So to help us get a better grasp on what the next generation of web users want, and help bring along an in-training developer while we’re at it, we’ve brought on Brandon White as our first official intern.

An aspiring graphic designer who has come to Fine Line hoping to learn more about HTML, CSS, JavaScript and everything else that makes your website look great, Brandon will work with graphics-Yoda Tom Brown to hone his burgeoning skills – all while garnering a greater understanding of what makes a local web design company function.

A design and marketing aficionado, Brandon also works with Sound FX Home Theaters (a noted friend and client of Fine Line). There he applies his skills to advertising, video development and social networking – all perfect tasks to prepare him for web design and marketing work with your favorite Delaware web design company.

He’s also spent time on his own as a self-styled web developer and as a marketer with nearby Midway Speedway.

The first Fine Line employee to be born in the 90s (effectively making the rest of us feel very, very old), Brandon’s an up-and-comer that we have lots of faith in. Web design’s always evolving… and with work, we think he can help lead the next wave of change.

Cute, cuddly, canine in nature and a PR specialist, Roxy serves as a marketing expert and keeps the team happy and entertained.

Young, hip and on the cutting edge of modern business trends, Roxy brings a bevy of skills to the Fine Line office. A natural sales associate, Human Resources representative and even a part-time Janitor, she’s a true Jack-of-all-Trades that’s quickly become an integral part of the Fine Line infrastructure. We've recently named her the head of Marketing and Special Projects for the company.

An entry-level employee, Roxy hasn’t compiled many hours in sales – but we remain infinitely confident in her ability to close deals and ensure that our clients are happy and heart warmed. She is a people… person… and gets along with everyone she meets. Except cats.

When she’s not helping Frank work with our clients, Roxy makes an ideal Human Resources rep inside the office. She’s a natural judge of character, and can quell even the fiercest of inter-office conflicts.

A true workaholic, she’s also happy to help keep the Fine Line facility clean. We haven’t found a single piece of food on the floor since we hired her.

We expect great things from Roxy, and hope that you’ll stop by and meet her for yourself. She’s most available by appointment, but is willing to meet walk-in clients – provided she’s not napping, outback using the bathroom or swamped with chew toy duties.
