Rehoboth Seafood Responsive Website Project
Rehoboth Seafood is a single website catering to the needs of four local restaurants. After a series of recent expansions, Rehoboth Seafood needed a way to connect with their growing number of devoted seafood followers. They needed a place to share information about their growing business and allow customers to purchase merchandise online safely and securely.
Fine Line provided Rehoboth Seafood with a custom responsive website design and the most recent version of the Joomla Content Management System. We connected the e-commerce platform Magento to Joomla using the MageBridge connector, allowing the client to manage content and products themselves with ease. A secure payment gateway was set up to allow customers to shop for merchandise safely.
As a well-loved and growing family of local restaurants, Rehoboth Seafood wanted a place to allow customers to purchase merchandise from all four of their restaurants at once. Before, someone would have to travel to each individual restaurant and fight the dinner rush to purchase an item and hope that it was in stock. To allow even far away seafood lovers to shop their merchandise, they asked Fine Line to design an easy to navigate, safe and secure way for customers to shop online and receive deliveries to their door.
Fine Line implemented Magento to manage the merchandise on Rehoboth Seafood’s website. This enables Rehoboth Seafood to manage sales, inventory, and prices directly without relying on a third party. This not only saves Rehoboth Seafood money, but increases the speed and accuracy of updates to their website.
Per standard practice at Fine Line, Rehoboth Seafood’s new website is self-adjusting to mobile and tablet use making it easy for customers to use. Web searches are increasingly done on mobile or tablet devices. To keep up, Fine Line based their responsive design off of Bootstrap to ensure reliability and ease of use.
The completed webpage has easy-to-navigate pages for customers to shop and purchase anything from glassware and hats to t-shirts and hot sauce. The website also includes a contact page and several rotating photo galleries in the headers to show off the prize of Rehoboth Seafood: the food. To encourage customers to come back, the website links to all four of the individual restaurant websites where customers can see menus, make reservations, and read more.
