Community Resource Center

"It has been a pleasure working with the folks at Fine Line. They helped us create a new logo and an amazing new website. They made the process fun and easy. They were incredibly responsive and really listened to what we needed. And best of all, they didn't try to "oversell" their services. As a small nonprofit, I appreciated that they were able to satisfy our needs and do so economically. Their IT support is also fantastic. I highly recommend Fine Line for any and all of your technology needs!"

The Community Resource Center is a volunteer-driven organization in Rehoboth Beach, created in 2011, that provides assistance to low-income individuals and families in times of need by offering a centralized location where residents in the local community can come when they are facing a crisis. The effort that CRC puts forth to offer help and hope to these individuals is admirable, to say the least. Their support encompasses a Food Rescue ProgramBaby PantryJob CenterDay Center, and Emergency Assistance. These services extend a helping hand to low-income and homeless community members that comes from a place of understanding and compassion, which is appreciated beyond measure by individuals that are often overlooked.

In order to get their message out to the community, they needed a website that truly represented who they were as an organization while offering an inviting, caring tone to their target audience. When CRC contacted us about designing and building a new website, we were excited about the opportunity.

Not only did CRC need a new website, but they needed a new logo as well. Our graphic designer was tasked with creating a logo that would set the tone for the entire website and represent CRC as an organization - so he did just that. Right away, this logo stands out as an all-encompassing icon of community strength and warm-hearted support by using colors that symbolize the acceptance of all individuals and shapes that represent love and hope.

Once the logo was complete and enthusiastically approved by our client, we used the logo to create several print materials including business cards, letterheads, envelopes, and stock cards.

For the website, we worked closely with CRC director, Jo, to create an uplifting, user-friendly site that focuses on their services and volunteer efforts while providing a simple way for users to donate without hassle. Inspired by their logo, our developer used a color palette that consists of calm blues, crisp whites, and a secondary splash of vibrant red.
