In memory of JAKE C. MARKULIN who fought Choroidal (optical) Melanoma at the age of 14. He had scans performed for 5 years with no indication of cancer. Twelve years later, an abdominal pain sent Jake to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with stage IV Uveal Melanoma. He was then placed in a trial at Memorial Sloane Kettering, but the cancer was too aggressive and spread throughout his body. Jake fought to the very end when unfortunately he passed on November 10, 2018. This foundation will help fund more research in order to finally find a treatment for this specific cancer.
